Issues referencing moai-core files from ios host

Postby WhaleFood » Fri Jan 19, 2018 7:52 pm

I'm working with moai version 1.7.5 and trying to add a one-off plugin to a fresh ios host created with pito. I had to add a few of the source folders to my header search paths and have gotten to the point where the files look good, but when I try to build I get the following linker errors:

Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64:
"typeinfo for MOAIGlobalClassBase", referenced from:
typeinfo for MOAIGlobalClass<NSObject, MOAILuaObject> in MOAIView.o
"typeinfo for MOAILuaObject", referenced from:
typeinfo for MOAIGlobalClass<NSObject, MOAILuaObject> in MOAIView.o
construction vtable for MOAILuaObject-in-TestLuaClass in MOAIView.o
construction vtable for MOAILuaObject-in-MOAIGlobalClass<NSObject, MOAILuaObject> in MOAIView.o
ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

I get the same error when trying to build to device, but different architecture. Any help/ideas would be very much appreciated.

Figured out a solution. I just added all the moai core files to my solution directly instead of using the compiled library.
