any updates on project :?: as it seems that atm MoidFiddle is a sad guy who could not create a canvas

Edit: error log http://pastebin.com/AJsBQBFG
Chrome 34.0.1847.137 m version Win7/Linux

Edit2: :? It does work on FireFox. Does it mean that Chrome is no longer compatible? Or is it a bug? etc.

Thanks for the feedback. Windows 8 with chrome 34.0.1847.137 is working fine here. Which script in particular is failing, is it when you press run?. Moaijs is rather large when downloaded and extracted, maybe there is a corrupt cache, try hard reloading (ctrl+f5).

Moaifiddle isn't dead, I am actively working on it (adding share button, and allowing custom files to be uploaded and multiple lua files per fiddle). I have been distracted by iOS build problems for moai, and bugs/limitations in ractivejs for moaifiddle. I only get about 1-1.5 hrs a day of free coding time to work on moai etc, so please bear with me.

Great!! either ctrl-f5 did help. ;) lol

Shortly after I tried it on my iPad chrome 34.0.1847.18. And it did work for awhile and fiddling with it, running different samples it stopped providing known from before error: "WebGL 1.0 is required but isn't supported... ". BUT it did work for some time! So whatever what has happened it should be a bug of some sorts. Isn't it? If only I could provide some more information.. :|

Hmm I do wonder about performance of running moai through javascript on a tablet.. Seems like such horrible waste :) Astonishing that it works at all!

Works just fine as long as it's decent android device with chrome :) Other than that... it depends.

It is indeed the future but I'm still a bit worried about running a lua VM inside a javascript VM! And it can hardly be debugged:) The future looks grim, efficiency wise. In my game a decent laptop has about the same performance with html host as an iPhone 4S has with the native code.

It's still awesome though, I've been running my level editor on html host since 6 months and its really handy.

So, it seems moaifiddle doesn't work with Safari + Maverick. I tried enabling WebGL in the developer menu, still no output is shown.

Will try with chrome later when i get off train.

there should be some debug spam if you open the developer console. does it give any errors that might help me fix it on safari?

Great help!, yep seems safari 6 is too old to handle some html5 features (like setting the response type to json) I will roll out a version that just uses JSON.parse.

All fixed. Should work on safari now (still needs webgl!). Let me know if this solves the problem for you. I probably also need to merge this fix into the main html host that comes with the sdk.

Is MoaiFiddle available somewhere, source-code wise? I'd love to play with it a bit and add some features .. sorry, haven't been keeping up with you. :)

It works !

but i still get this error even if it's working fine:

[Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) (underscore-min.map, line 0)

dunno if it means anything to you.

yeah, that is normal, if you have the console open, it tries to load the map that maps minified source lines to real source lines for debugging, I have not exposed that since underscore is stable and I never need to debug it. Just ignore it. Glad it works

Pretty nice, is there a way to add some files to your instance?

I am working on allowing you to add your own files.
I have just finished (but not pushed) console support, so we can have embedded fiddles that do not open a window and just echo text to the console.

also as of iOS 8 moaifiddle now works on apple devices, which also means htmljs host should work on ipads and iphones.
